A comfortable day's drive from Perth, Mount Magnet is an historic gold rush town renowned for its wildflower season when blooms of colourful everlastings stretch for miles every July to October.
Surrounding the town are the remains of mine sites, and to the north east significant Aboriginal sites are preserved by the local community and the West Australian Museum. Mount Magnet now operates as a service town for the surrounding pastoral district which supports large sheep stations.
To continue the development of a vibrant regional community, purchasers are required to build their home within 36 months from settlement.
Regional Development Assistance Program (RDAP)
The Regional Development Assistance Program, also known as RDAP, helps Local Governments to address the high costs associated with residential, industrial and commercial land developments in regional WA. Through these partnerships, LandCorp, on behalf of the State Government, is helping to deliver the land needed to support regional growth and to build great communities.
