Kalannie is a Wheatbelt town in the northern agricultural region of Western Australia, 259km north east of Perth.
Established as a townsite in 1929, the name Kalannie is Aboriginal and is translated as "where the Aboriginals got white stone for their spears".
To encourage the establishment of a vibrant family community, purchasers are required to build their home within 36 months from settlement.
