In our role as the Government's land and infrastructure development agency, we continue to lay the groundwork for the communities of tomorrow.

This work relies on good cross government collaboration and the opening up of a diverse range of residential, commercial, tourism and industrial opportunities for the private sector.

This approach helps to shape the Government's state-wide development agenda and ensures we realise Western Australia's development potential.

At Alkimos Beach, the only thing missing is you!

Located in the heart of Perth’s northern coastal corridor, 40km north of Perth CBD and 15km from Joondalup city centre, Alkimos Beach is a master planned walkable community nestled behind the sand dunes of the regions premier swimming beach.

Alkimos Beach has a wide range of house and land packages with the best builders in WA.

With a commitment to the early activation of community amenity it's a hive of activity with The Gateway Shopping Precinct featuring Alkimos IGA, medical centre, child care centre, cafe's and restaurants and the City of Wanneroo pop up library. Two schools with St James’ Anglican School and Alkimos Beach Primary school. The Alkimos Beach Surf Life Saving Club, Leatherback Oval. Sprout Community Hub; a community meeting place and kiosk, besides Escarpment Park.  With all of this and a wide selection of homesites, it is easy to build a place to belong at the heart of the North Coast.

DevelopmentWA’s extensive 710 hectare landholding in the suburb of Alkimos is set to become the largest and most significant master planned coastal development in the north-west corridor of Perth in 50 years.

In line with the State Government’s strategic planning framework, DevelopmentWA's overall development in Alkimos is expected to accommodate a future population of 15,000 people and a City Centre serving a population of 55,000, providing over 14,000 new employment opportunities for the expanding Western Australian population. It will incorporate a major regional centre, a planned train station and the largest coastal village in the district next to its regional beach.

Grab your beach towel, slip on the thongs and come along to see for yourself. Or you can visit the Alkimos website.
