WA’s northernmost town, Wyndham, is about an hour's drive from Kununurra.

The waters off Wyndham offer great recreational fishing all year round and WA’s famous barramundi can be found in the King and Pentecost Rivers.

The town is the gateway to the Gibb River Road. From here you can explore El Questro Station, Parry Creek Wildlife Reserve and Diggers Rest station overland, or the Cambridge Gulf by boat.
