The Quadrangle

Comprising 29ha overall, The Quadrangle is Joondalup’s Southern Business District. It is located 26km north of Perth and is bounded by Joondalup Drive to the east, Hodges Drive to the north, the Mitchell Freeway to the west and Eddystone Avenue to the south.

The Quadrangle represents our last major land holding in Joondalup and commercial development here will promote business connections to support the continued economic growth of the City of Joondalup.

The City of Joondalup is currently considering its new Draft City Centre Structure Plan, which includes The Quadrangle site. This new draft structure plan, when adopted, will supersede the existing approved structure plan which currently applies to The Quadrangle.

Subject to the assessment outcomes, the new draft structure plan may change the land use or development conditions permitted at The Quadrangle.

Under the current structure plan, The Quadrangle is planned to include a range of land uses including commercial, technology, education, training, offices, retail and other support services.

The Motor Industry Training Association has acquired the northern portion of the site and is developing new training facilities.

Construction of new internal infrastructure is underway and will be completed by March 2012 to create four new large lots, each of several hectares. These will be in addition to the lots already created north of Injune Way.
