LOTS 23 to 26 development opportunity now CLOSED
As part of the Pilbara Cities vision and in support of exponential growth of Pilbara’s Port City, LandCorp is releasing several parcels of land for multiple-storey, mixed-use development opportunities. The land releases, to be sold through a structured sales process, will help establish a more robust local economy featuring an array of retail and commercial businesses which will add value to the local community in the long term.
The opportunity gives private sector developers the chance to create innovative concepts and buildings suitable to the Pilbara climate and economy. In South Hedland, Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26 in the heart of the town centre are being released by structured sale. Developers can submit for one or all of the lots which can support a mix of commercial, office, retail, medical and cafe space on the ground floor with residential space above.
With Lot 23 sized at 6,476sqm, Lot 24 at 4,227sqm, Lot 25 at 4,797sqm and Lot 26 at 9,794sqm, the full amount of land on offer totals 2.53 hectares.
The structured sales release is now closed. For further information please contact Andrew McKerracher, Burgress Rawson on (08) 9288 0288 or 0411 611 919 or Dave Rowe, Crawford Realty on (08) 9172 5300 or 0447 717 467
PILBARA'S PORT CITY
Pilbara’s Port City, which is defined by the coastal town of Port Hedland and neighbouring South Hedland, are at the epicentre for exports of iron ore and other resources from the Pilbara region. The port handled close to 200 million tonnes of commodities in the past year, making it the world’s largest bulk export port, with plans to expand its capabilities to more than 400 million tonnes a year.
In recognising its contribution to the nation’s economic wealth, the State Government is working with a wide range of organisations to transform Port and South Hedland into a City of the North.
The State Government’s $1billion Pilbara Cities initiative will help create a cosmopolitan city which supports a permanent population of 50,000 people. These plans will ensure the Port City’s infrastructure and economy are developed in parallel to the planned growth of the port.
LandCorp is partnering with the Pilbara Cities office, Town of Port Hedland and the private sector to revitalise South Hedland which will focus on redeveloping the town centre.
