Will there be any community consultation?
We are actively consulting with the community during the development of the Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project. A Community Reference Group (CRG) acts as a point of reference and to facilitate the flow of information between the government and the community. There are also quarterly public information forums and shopping centre displays.

Will the environment be protected?
The Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project has received all the necessary approvals and will be subject to rigorous environmental assessment and ongoing monitoring at both the State and Federal levels.
