Kemerton Industrial Park is the major resource processing area for the South West region, offering affordable vacant land suitable for heavy industries such as a silicon smelter and a titanium dioxide plant.
Located 17km north-east of Bunbury, and now 30 minutes closer to Perth thanks to the Perth to Bunbury Highway Kemerton Industrial Park totals more than 7,500ha of land including a bushland buffer zone.
The Park offers strategic access to transport routes in the Old Coast Road to the west and South Western Highway to the east.
We are working with the Department of State Development to develop Kemerton as a contemporary, world-class industrial park.
To further improve access there is provision for a rail link from Kemerton to the Port of Bunbury.
There have been several studies into Kemerton Industrial Park over the past 20 years and an overall development concept was adopted in 2000.
A review of the previous studies has been carried out to produce the Kemerton Industrial Park Strategy Plan, which draws together key elements of earlier environmental and infrastructure studies.
More information can be found at the Kemerton Industrial Park website.
