Nestled next to the Indian Ocean, south of Fremantle, Cockburn Coast will deliver a cosmopolitan beachside living and café lifestyle with new amenities and transport networks.

Featuring the redevelopment of the former Robb Jetty industrial area and its surrounds - including the integration of the South Beach and Port Coogee developments and the South Fremantle Power Station - Cockburn Coast will bring together seven precincts creating an exciting mix of residential, business opportunities and community facilities.

Stretching from South Beach to the Port Coogee estate, this urban renewal project will encompass up to 333 hectares of project area of which approximately 140 hectares comprises of developable land. LandCorp, as the majority landowner holds approximately 40 hectares of developable land. Cockburn Coast is a significant redevelopment project which is anticipated to take approximately 15 - 20 years to fully develop, which includes the potential transformation of the South Fremantle Power Station. Together with the Department of Planning, City of Cockburn, City of Fremantle, Department of Transport and other key stakeholders including landowners, we will be creating a new Cockburn Coast in close consultation with the community.
