Bluff Point

LandCorp has appointed a partner for the Bluff Point project which is set to play a key role in boosting Geraldton’s residential land supply.

PRM Property Holdings Pty Ltd has been chosen as the successful partner after submitting a proposal that caters for a range of lifestyle choices and alternatives to the housing options currently on offer in Geraldton. PRM also outlined strategies to reduce energy and water usage and highlighted the importance of retaining the environmental and heritage value of Bluff Point.

The Bluff Point project relates to the 8.4 ha site spanning the suburbs of Bluff Point and Beresford. It is just 300m from the Indian Ocean and less than 4km from the town's central business district. It is also within 2km of the sparkling Geraldton Marina and Northgate Shopping Centre. The site incorporates the disused Geraldton Port Railway cutting and the heritage-listed 'Gatekeeper's Cottage'.

The project will deliver approximately 75 single lots and three grouped housing sites for a total of 100 new homes.

Together with PRM, we intend to engage the community on the site’s overall design. Two hectares of public open space will be integral to the development which will also include the retention of both the heritage-listed Gatekeeper’s Cottage and the historic railway cutting.

Land at the Bluff Point site is expected to be in high demand with the proposed development of the $4 billion Oakajee Port and industrial development, located about 20km to the north of the site.
