Perth’s North-West Corridor is expected to grow substantially over the next 25-30 years.

The Alkimos Eglinton area is a coastal site comprising over 2,600ha located 40km north of Perth’s CBD and in the future is expected to accommodate up to 57,000 people. This equates to 40 per cent of the land required in the North-West Corridor over the next 20-25 years.

Alkimos will become a leading example of sustainable development. Our vision is to create a master-planned coastal community of global significance that is moving towards carbon–neutral living.

Lend Lease has now been chosen as our development partner for the initial 224ha stage.

We will continue to work closely with adjoining landholders, Eglinton Estates Pty Ltd, Peet Alkimos Pty Ltd and the Water Corporation to achieve the vision for the area.

With a new regional centre at Alkimos, an integrated public transport system, schools and community facilities, leisure and possible marine facilities, and opportunities for businesses, Alkimos will provide the opportunity for residents to work and play close to home.
