2007 UDIA National Awards for Excellence - Mandurah Ocean Marina in the Masterplanned category. Western Australia’s only integrated marina is fast securing its reputation Australia-wide, winning the National Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Award for Excellence for a Masterplanned Development. The award recognises LandCorp’s Mandurah Ocean Marina as a world-class development which by seamlessly combining residential, commercial, tourism and recreational areas, has become a destination in its own right.
LandCorp and National Homes were also successful in winning the 2006 HIA National GreenSmart Awards in the Partnership Category for The Elements project home.
2006 HIA-GreenSmart Partnership Award. The Elements project home was specifically built to demonstrate core components of sustainable living. The home represents a sucessful working partnership between joint venture partners LandCorp and National Homes, backed-up by strong and effective partnerships with Murdoch University, the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection (Kidsafe) and the Disability Services Commission. The Elements incorporates HIA-GreenSmart initiatives.
2004 Accessible Communities Awards High Commendation - Category Two - Progress Towards Accessible Communities by State Government Agencies - Mandurah Ocean Marina.
At the recent Australian Marine Industries Federation - Australian Marine Awards, the Mandurah Ocean Marina won two of four Marina Awards. They were Australia's Marina of the Year Award for 2004 and the Recreational & Tourism Award for excellence in customer service, user facilities, environmental emergency and maintenance procedures. The Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club also won the Marina Club Award, recognising the club for service to the community.
