The estate is nearing completion with existing amenities including a primary school, community centre, a large lake and several areas of public open space.

All current single residential lots offered to the market have been sold.

Covering a total area of 160 hectares, the Harvest Lakes estate will house a community of 4,200 people.

GreenSmart benchmarks have been adopted for both land development and buildings. We have fostered the use of appropriate environmental site management techniques in developing the residential estate, maximising the number of lots orientated to suit energy efficient and climate responsive home design. Energy efficient design, solar orientation, ventilation and insulation form part of the mandatory sustainability components of all homes within Harvest Lakes.

Harvest Lakes will soon also include retail and speciality shopping and childcare services. Woolworths has begun construction on a full range supermarket and speciality stores. Childcare provider Buggles is constructing a childcare centre providing places for up to 92 children per day.

In addition, the State Government has approved funding to build a train station at Aubin Grove as part of the Southern Suburbs Railway Line.
