Don’t miss out on the benefits of buying your first home.

We understand buying your first home is a big decision, but if you want as much financial support as possible, it’s important to make your move now. From 1 October the Australian Government First Home Owners Boost (FHOB) will be halved from $14,000 to $7,000 for people buying or building a new home.

This together with your Commonwealth First Home Owner Grant will give you a total of $14,000. Should you be interested in buying an established home rather than a new home this FHOB is reduced from $7,000 to $3,500, giving you a total of $10,500.

In January 2010, the FHOB will fall away completely, leaving first home buyers with just the Commonwealth First Home Owner Grant of $7,000. So don’t delay, start looking for your first home today.
