Mandurah’s exciting new residential development, Mandurah Junction, following the commencement of site works in May.

LandCorp’s Mandurah Junction will transform 15ha of land next to Mandurah train station into a high quality residential, retail and commercial estate.

Senior Project Manager Sergio Famiano said the project would bring a wide choice of home options to cater for up to 2,000 people, supported by services, amenities and commercial opportunities within 9,500sqm of retail and commercial space.

“When completed the development will feature attractive public open space, shops and cafés enabling residents to enjoy a range of activities close to home,” Mr Famiano said.

“Importantly, Mandurah Junction capitalises on its location next to the train station and bus terminal to offer more affordable living by encouraging reduced transport costs.”

Mr Famiano said LandCorp is helping deliver the State Government’s Directions 2031 and Beyond initiative by providing opportunities to reduce reliance on cars and address growing demand for housing by bringing a range of housing choices to the homebuyer market.

“Mandurah Junction is one of a number of LandCorp projects which are part of a collaborative approach to bring about new places to live, work and play,” Mr Famiano said.

Civil works at Mandurah Junction started in May and will continue until around October.
