49 homesites have now been released as Stage 3 at LandCorp’s Champion Lakes
Stage 3 offers homebuyers a number of traditional homesites ranging in size from 375 sqm to 645 sqm, with prices starting from $193,000.
LandCorp General Manager Metropolitan, Luke Willcock said the estate is already a popular setting for a community attracted by the affordable lakeside lifestyle and public open space.
“More than 100 homesites have now been sold in the first two stages at Champion Lakes and we have received very keen interest in Stage 3.”
At the centre of the development is a 55 hectare lake and 2,000 metre international-standard rowing course surrounded by landscaped parkland, waterways and a wildlife conservation area.
The estate also features BBQ facilities, offering residents a fantastic setting for entertaining friends and family. The controlled lighting of the public open spaces at Champion Lakes means leisure activities can be enjoyed at night as well as during the day.
The estate is located near Armadale, which under the recently announced Activity Centres Policy, was identified as a Strategic Metropolitan Centre in the State Government’s Directions 2031
framework. One of the objectives of the framework is to set achievable goals that will promote housing affordability over the longer term by facilitating increased housing diversity, adaptability and choice.
“Champion Lakes is a prime example of LandCorp’s efforts to deliver attractive affordable communities to meet the current and future needs of West Australians,” Mr Willcock added.
