2010/11 Australian Institute of Marketing Awards – WINNER

For C2030 in the Social Marketing category.

Branded Community 2030 (C2030) - Conversations with the Community, the campaign went beyond traditional marketing tools, to include large-scale community Summits, an interactive website, social media platforms, and a futuristic portal that travels to different towns and cities to record people’s ideas.

2011 Urban Land Institute Awards for Excellence: Asia Pacific – WINNER

For Mandurah Ocean Marina.

ULI’s Awards for Excellence recognise not only architecture and design but also take into account leadership, contribution to community, innovation, public/ private partnership, environmental protection and enhancement, response to societal needs and financial viability.

2011 HIA PILBARA HOUSING AWARDS - WINNER

For Warambie Estate in the Special Purpose Housing Project of the Year category  (joint submission with National Lifestyle Villages and EcoFit Homes).

High quality residential village of 100 homes designed for the Pilbara climate and built specifically for Karratha's retail, tourism and general service workers and their families.

2011 PIANC Marina Excellence Design Jack Nichol Award (MEDA) - WINNER

For Mandurah Ocean Marina. The opening of Mandurah Ocean Marina in 2001 fulfilled a 30-year community vision to convert its abandoned shoreline into a dynamic waterfront destination. The selection committee determined the Mandurah Ocean Marina best represents the intent of the award evaluation criteria – functionality, aesthetics and environment.

The PIANC Marina Excellence Design Jack Nichol Award was created in 2002 in memory of the late John M. ‘Jack’ Nichol, an Honorary Member of PIANC and well-known marina designer. The purpose of the Award is to recognise excellence in the design of modern recreational boating facilities around the world.

2011 PROPERTY COUNCIL WA INNOVATION AND EXCELLENCE AWARDS - Finalists

Both Champion Lakes, Armadale (Sustainable Development category) and Enterprise Park, Wangara (Industrial Development category) were finalists in the 2011 Property Council WA Innovation and Excellence Awards.

Champion Lakes residential estate on the shores of a 55ha international standard water sports facility in the City of Armadale has been developed to capitalise on its location bringing a new waterside lifestyle never before seen in Perth's south east.

Enterprise Park, Wangara was established as a general industrial estate in 1989 to cater for the continued growth of Perth's rapidly expanding north-west corridor. This was a joint submission with Sherwood Overseas Company.

2010 PROPERTY COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA INNOVATION AND EXCELLENCE AWARDS

For Australian Marine Complex at Henderson in the category of Industrial Development

Recognised LandCorp, Department of Commerce (formerly Department of Industry and Resources) and AMC Management (WA) Pty Ltd, as the three organisations responsible for the AMC who collaborated to design and deliver the world’s best floating dock, supported by other infrastructure.

This included a state-of-the art transfer system with a self propelled modular transporter (SPMT) system, transfer wharf and deep sink pocket. LandCorp managed the $174million State Government commitment to fund this infrastructure upgrade at the CUF and, through a best practice consultative approach, sought to deliver a solution to meet social, community, economic and environmental requirements.

Working with the City of Fremantle, the local community and Stockland Ltd to transform the former derelict industrial rail terminal into a vibrant new community.

For Januburu Six Seasons, Broome in the category of Sustainable Urban Development

Recognised as a residential development unlike any other in Broome, reflecting on the Indigenous culture of its first residents.

2009 AMI MARKETING EXCELLENCE AWARDS – STATE

For Revolution Road in the category of Brand Revitalisation Marketing Communications (Business to Consumer)

Changing the building paradigm at our residential display village at Seville Grove which demonstrated innovative techniques, products, design and concepts, including sustainable design and construction.

For Pretty Pool, Port Hedland in the category of Outstanding Coastal Development, Innovation and/or Design

The 37-hectare residential estate at Pretty Pool in Port Hedland was developed by LandCorp. The estate was designed in consultation with environmental experts, traditional landowners and the local community.

The estate is a modern eco-community, featuring a mixture of lot sizes and lifestyle options including apartments and townhouses, recreation facilities, public art, parks, playgrounds and walkways.

For Hedland Community Flatback Turtle Monitoring Program in the category of Costal Partnership

Coastal Partnership Award together with Hedland Environmental Association, LandCorp, BHP Billiton Iron Ore and Town of Port Hedland.

2009 CITY OF COCKBURN A BETTER TOMORROW SUSTAINABILITY AWARD

For Cockburn Central in the category of Large Business Award – Sustainability

Cockburn Central is a 12ha regional central providing real choices in residential housing options, lifestyle opportunities, recreation and commercial activity and incorporates a major bus and train interchanges. Cockburn Central provides a new model for transit-oriented activity centres, with the aim to reduce reliance on cars and promote health living through walking and riding throughout the development.
