Broome Road Industrial Park has also been named Warrgamburu Birragun (pronounced Warr-gam-bu-ru Birr-a -gun) by the Yawuru traditional owners, which means 'working place in the bush'.
The 412 hectare Broome Road Industrial Park has been designed to service the growing town of Broome and the West Kimberley region.
Ideally located for access to Great Northern Highway, only 8km from Broome Town Centre and 16km from Broome Port, the area is suitable for a wide range of industries including transport and logistics, equipment hire and construction services.
Zoned 'Industry' under the Shire of Broome's Town Planning Scheme, the area will also suit processing and support industries for the recently released Skuthorpe Horticulture Area.
We have worked closely with the Shire of Broome, Department of Planning, Nyamba Buru Yawuru Ltd and other stakeholders to develop the Broome Road Industrial Master Plan and help guide the long-term development of the estate.
