Peel is Western Australia's fastest growing region with its population projected to grow by nearly 50 per cent by 2016.

Covering 5,600 square kilometres, the Peel Region encompasses the shires of Boddington, Murray, Serpentine Jarrahdale and Waroona, with the thriving City of Mandurah at its heart.

Mandurah has grown as the major recreational and cultural centre, maintaining its position as one the nation's top five regional growth centres.

In less than 10 years we have developed the multiple award winning Mandurah Ocean Marina to become a Peel tourism icon and a destination in its own right.

Its North Harbour boasts unrivalled access to the ocean and water sports, and a host of shopping, entertainment and dining options.

Development at South Harbour is well underway and will soon house a range of accommodation, offices, restaurants, cafes and retail outlets.

Planning for Mandurah Junction is also underway, with plans to redevelop 15ha of land adjacent to the Mandurah train station and park-and-ride facility, creating a high quality, transit oriented residential community with the potential for some commercial or mixed use activities.

Peel's industry and commerce includes mining, manufacturing, building and construction, retail and tourism and agriculture to drive its $5.5 billion economy.

When complete, LandCorp's 90ha Pinjarra Industrial Estate will deliver 50 lots providing investment and employment opportunities for the town and the Peel Region.
