At LandCorp we aim to use our influence and leadership to create sustainable and vibrant places to live, work and play.

Our activity in metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia includes major tourism and commercial projects, large and small scale residential developments as well as industrial land designed specifically to support the long-term needs of local communities and the State.

In the metropolitan area we undertake significant projects where they are most needed. Seventy per cent of the State's population resides in Perth and by 2031, the population is expected to grow by up to 40 per cent to 2.2 million. In support of Directions 2031, the State Governments strategic planning framework shaping the future of Perth, and to accomodate this growth, our developments incorporate a greater diversity and an increased density of dwellings. We're creating new communities with easy access to public transport such as Cockburn Central, The Springs and Leighton Beach in addition to a new master-planned regional centre in Alkimos which could accommodate up to 50,000 people.

Our industrial program aims to provide business with sustainable investment and employment opportunities to help our State grow. Next generation metropolitan industrial estates are now in development such as Latitude 32 Industry Zone in Perth's south and Meridian Park in the north. Throughout the rest of the State we're helping to provide businesses in towns like Newman, Kalbarri and Collie with light industrial land.

In regional areas we work with local and state government, local businesses and resource companies to provide sufficient land to stimulate social and economic growth in these areas. Whether it is major waterfront developments in Mandurah, Albany, or Bunbury or important residential developments in places such as Karratha and Broome, our regional program can help local communities achieve their economic goals.

2012 Applications are now open to local government under the Regional Development Assistance Program (RDAP)
